Thanks to for explaining to me my uncle's medical abstract, and I'm very sorry for posting some misleading information on the previous post. I’ve have talked with my cousins to tell them what I've learnt and asked them what's their current plan.
Apparently, Mr. Adriano will first need an angiogram to be held on Febuary 12 at SPMC, Davao. That's when the doctors will decide if he truly needs a surgery after the angiogram based on its results. Nonetheless, the cost still floats around ~$2000 (if he wouldn't need a surgery). Here's the first bill from the hospital he was rushed to when he had the heart attack.
UPDATE!!
A few hours after I posted the previous update, my mom called me and told me that he’s recommended to have an angiogram at the Philippine Heart Center at Manila rather than SPMC at Davao. I have to confirm if they already bought tickets and how many will fly here (again, I’ll be editing this one I get more info).
the total bill costs just above a thousand dollars
This doesn't include the angiogram which could cost near a thousand dollars.
As I promised, 100% of the SBD earned by this post will be remitted to Mr. Adriano Jacob's daughter
I just can’t stress this enough, I’m so thankful to for studying my uncle's medical abstract, she even made a thorough explanation on Thrombolysis here and multiple other topics about the heart in her blog.
