Hello beach lovers like me!!
It seems beach season is finally starting here in Portugal!
These last days we had high summer temperatures and despite I'm not on vacation time...I have a great job that sometimes allows me to go to amazing places...like Berlega island
This is the small beach one can enjoy in Berlenga, a small island is about 7 miles from the Peniche Port.
The water is really crystal clear, and is known to be main location for diving
I particularly enjoyed the pink color of the sand
It seems this color must be due to the mother rock, a pink granite
I did not bath this time on the beach because it was a windy day. Hopefully, I'll dive on my next time on the island.
