What a blessing Steemit and this awesome Steemit music community is.
Holy smokes that aren't that many places in this world where something like the Beat Battle League can survive and thrive.
But lucky or us for whatever reason we have Steemit, so let's take full advantage of this amazing platform and inspire some real, positive change.
Week Four had six (6) epic entries with 
Will anyone catch the almighty 
Only time will tell.
And with the introduction of the new cryptocurrency POINTS, the Beat Battle League is elevating.
Now with its one cryptocurrency mixed with Whaleshares and SBD, the prizes for participating in the Beat Battle League is at an epic all-time high.
All POINTS earned by League members get them the chance to earn real cryptocurrency, a chance to win the Championship belt, and take the down the ultimate Steemit Music League Championship and celebrate in Vegas for a week.
That's right by being apart of the Beat Battle League you can win in many ways.
Besides feedback and networking, the League offers a chance to build your resume, earn cryptocurrency, set up your financials for the future, and have some fun and maybe end up with a Championship belt and a trip to Las Vegas.
Every month the top three (3) in the Beat Battle League have the option to redeem their points for POINTS. they can either keep their points and maintain their lead or redeem them for POINTS and reset their score back to 0.
This gives the League members flexibility to fund their daily lives and set up their future for long-term success.
That is what the Beat Battle League is about.
Long-term success for Steemians.
The current music industry is set up for you all to be exploited and used in a short amount of time and then throw you away.
Our goal is to not let that happen.
We have a vast experience and knowledge based from our team of 
Shit, was/is one of the OG hip-hop icons of Canada and you get to have him judge your submissions each week (if you didn't know this check out his page, the dude is an OG and lives in freakin Malaysia, EPIC).
That alone is worth all the time and effort for your entries.
Let alone all of the other opinions, fun, and other benefits you get from competing in the League.
This week we are adding something new, the Community Favorite.
The Community Favorite each week will be awarded 10 SBD and 10 Points and is determined by the League member who gets the most support from comments and upvotes on their submissions both on their original post and their comment on Beat Battle League posts.
The goal of the Community Favorite is to reward the Steemian who Steemians love the most and also encourages the Steemit community to actively participate in the judging process.
This is a community built by the community for the community so doesn't that make sense?
We think so and we are so pumped to add another epic aspect to the League this week. As you can tell we like adding benefits and prizes.
A lot.
So join the League now, it's not too late as the first Season runs until the end of the year with the winner of Season One of the League announced on January 2, 2018.

This week the universal theme is:
Pain & Sorrow
One of the aspects of life that takes so many humans down in the form of depression and lost souls is pain and sorrow.
That shit hurts.
Life is hard and we go through pain and sorrow sometimes every day to sacrifice for the greater good.
Or sometimes we are just selfish and the Universe is trying to get our attention.
Either way pain and sorrow is an emotion and mindset we deal with as humans all too frequently.
So what better way to help us deal with it then makes some epic beats to help us.
So let's see what original beats you all can create off of the universal theme this week of pain and sorrow.
Should be an interesting ride :)
The beats of this week will be used (if you want to opt out just let me know) in the Steemit Music League Challenge Week Two for Steemians to create their entries off of.
Just another way to get these dreams going and encourage a community of mutual aid.
Remember the entries are judged on:
Sound Quality: does this shit sound crispy, in speakers and headphones, is there cracking or recording errors? How loud can we play it before you notice quality issues? etc
Technicality: what are the skills you displayed in making this beat? The technical aspects of the your craft. The layers and sounds do they match? How many? etc
Creativity: how unique your entry is. How well it revolves around the universal theme? O shit we have never heard that sound before? Stuff like that.
The prize pool is as follows:
FIRST PLACE WINNER: 65 Whaleshares + 20 SBD for a total of 85 Points
SECOND PLACE WINNER: 50 Whaleshares + 10 SBD for a total of 60 Points
THIRD PLACE WINNER: 40 Whaleshares + 6 SBD for a total of 46 Points
FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 30 Whaleshares + 4 SBD for a total of 34 Points
CROWD FAVORITE: 10 SBD for a total of 10 Points
The crowd favorite can be awarded to any Steemian with any entry this week. So the first place winner could win additional rewards or it could be another Steemian. All depends on you the Steemit community :)
