This morning, I went to three different stores looking for ground beef. The first one was Woodman's, and I went there 20 minutes after they opened after restocking overnight. They didn't have any ground beef at all. After that, I tried to go to Meijer, but they actually weren't even open yet. After that, I went to Metro Market and found what I was looking for. They had ground chuck in 3+ pound packages on sale for $2.99 a pound.
At the moment, I'm not worried too much about getting grass-fed and grass-finished beef because my financial situation is a little uncertain at the moment. It seems very likely that I'll be forced to not work anymore sometime soon. It remains to be seen just how long that will last, too.
"And with the price of beef going through the fuckin' roof, that's a deal."
There is a lot of beef in my freezer still from the last Butcher Box that I got and I do have another one on the way, so some of the beef I eat will be grass-fed, even if Butcher Box isn't entirely ideal because it's shipped from literally the other side of the world.
There's talk of everyone getting a big phat check from the Gubbermint because of this plague that's going around. If I actually get one, I think I will try to spend it on a freezer and some beef to put in said freezer. That's something I've wanted to do for quite some time but I've been needing to save up the money first because I don't have a ton of extra cash at the moment.
Hive is alive!
In the SteemPress Discord channel, I saw that they've already made the switch to the Hive blockchain, so I'm testing that out now. That's basically the main reason for this post. I've also just not posted for a while, but that's because... well, things are kind of fucked up right now, aren't they?
