Hello everyone! I know I’ve been absent from steemit for a while. For those of you who don’t know, I am a middle school teacher in Omaha.
The past couple of months have been incredibly busy. I taught summer school while finishing up my masters degree, I published my 58 page thesis and presented to colleagues and professors, I celebrated my 30th birthday and my wife threw me an awesome birthday party, and of course, we got a puppy and she has kept us incredibly busy. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of pictures to come!
Anyways, Kinkaider Brewing is located in the small town of Broken Bow, Nebraska (lots of great deer hunting in that area). While I have tried many new beers that I will post reviews of, this one really stood out to me.
As you can see from the description, it is a delicious porter, but what really surprised me is the alcohol content. At only 4.5% ABV, this porter is incredibly smooth and goes down easy. However, it is the perfect beer for fall in the Great Plains!
Thanks everyone! Sorry I’ve been gone for a while, but I figured it would help me focus on my grad work if I stayed away from social media for a while. Looking forward to getting back and discussing more great beers!
Cheers and happy #beersaturday!
