Brilliantly balanced for easy drinking, this pale ale is packed with citrus and tropical fruit flavors from eight different hop varieties.
The description on the bottle for this beer is spot on. The finish is very smooth making for an extremely drinkable beer. The bitter hoppy taste is a bit muted. For a beer that prided itself on its hops this surprised me. However, I was far from unhappy with it, and far from un impressed. The brewer New Belgium has been one of my favorite brewers ever since I have lived in Colorado where they first began brewing (Fort Collins, CO) as they grew they made anew brewery in Asheville North Carolina as well, Which brought their beers to people on the eastern side of the United States as well.
I would put a "Drink it" recommendation on this New Belgium ale, as well as just about all New Belgium brews I have ever tried. So if you are in an area where their beers are available in the USA look out for this one and feel comfortable trying out other styles of theirs as well.
