Steemians this is the gold standard in beer. Unfortunately when people hear "beer" they think Germany. They should think Czechia. Czechs drink more beer than Germans, have more light eyes, more blond hair, this is all per capita of course. Czechia is also home to historical beer towns like Pilsen (where pilsner was invented) and Ceske Budejovice (Budweis in German). In fact, just about the only beer from Germany that we drink on the regular is Bitburger, that's it.
We present to you Czechvar. In Europe it is called Budweis or Budvar. This original high quality Budweiser had to suffer lawsuits over naming rights from the American piss water budweiser. Because the American budweiser doesen't make beer, they make piss water, commercials and lawsuits. I remember looking at the old red and white American piss water budweiser cans when I was a child and seeing "made from the finest........RICE". Silly St Louis piss water brewers, you don't make beer from rice, I knew this as a child.
This is it. This is Czechvar. This is basically the best beer on the planet, or one of. The joys of traveling central Europe is to get this on tap, perfectly poured, after walking from pub to pub. And over there pub prices are only about 10% more than store prices, not like in America where bar prices are 500% or more of store prices. This is the standard. 10 out of 10.
