I enjoy beer, and I enjoy exploring brewpubs to see what new things I might discover. There are some really nice small brewpubs popping up in Wisconsin. Some of them serve excellent food as well.
This one in central Wisconsin, USA, serves great food, great beer, and has a pleasant ambience.
We have a great logo on the outside, fastened to corrugated metal. Pretty manly. This is a good start.
Colorful interior, with windows where you can peek into the brewery operation. It's a fairly small operation, but they have a wide variety of their own beers, and a few guest taps as well.
Lots of tap handles, growlers, and a full bar. The style of the place is very bike-oriented, as the owner of the brewpub is an avid biker.
Finally got into some beers. A simple pale ale at the left, and a belgian pale at the right. Both very fresh and tasty.
And a pizza! It actually looks kind of healthy, doesn't it? I wasn't sure about carrots on a pizza, but they're thin sliced enough so you don't have to chew through them. The greens add some color, and there's lots of meat as well. Good stuff!
All in all, this was an excellent brewpub, and worth a visit if you're in the central Wisconsin area!
