On a rainy Monday it’s only fitting to recap a beautiful weekend of warm weather, cold beer and good times for all my beersaturday friends.
We were up north so if you follow me you may know that I have a go to brewery up there. Rare bird brewery is a first in class brewery that focuses on local ingredients and high end bar food. This first beer is Pseudo Sabro which is a Session IPA. The Sabro hops and kviek hornindal yeast give this juicy IPA a fruity twist with notes of pineapple and citrus
After that I grabbed a few tasters. These were Northern Smog a double dry hopped with Idaho 7, sabro and strata. The second was Steal Your Peach a fruited gose. Both beers were refreshing , but I knew I’d be having some more beer when we got home so I stuck with the small taster.
Once we got home it was still beautiful so I figured one more beer on the upper deck would not hurt. It ended up being two more beers on the patio, but who’s counting!
Nowhere Land is hazy and hoppy which is a prefect summer beer. I love how clean and drinkable these are. They are light enough to have a few, but they do not lack flavor like your traditional macro beer.
We had a beautiful evening of drinking and conversation while watching the sun set. I wish we could do this every day since the slow pace is relaxing. It’s hard to find time to just sit and enjoy nature and your partner without distractions.
