Good point, I hadn't considered the effect of a run on the banks. Most of my big monthly payments are electronic these days, so I spend time each month pushing funds around to various accounts, but the thought of actually hoarding cash hasn't even crossed my mind. What's going on with Deutsche Bank is worrying, will be interesting to see how that plays out.
