Started the morning with TAHO

Presenting a perfect breakfast for a person with a sweet tooth like me, TAHO! :)

My morning started out just right and this one made it extra special for it was quite a long time since I last ate Taho. :)

For your information, Taho is composed of tofu/soya, brown sugar syrup (arnibal), and small tapioca pearls (sago pearls). It is one of my comfort foods ever since I was a kid. It is sold in the local streets by a "magtataho", man who walks in the streets and carries large aluminum containers on his shoulders. I remember when I used to run to my mom to ask for a coin whenever I hear the magtataho shouting "taho, taho, taho..." outside our house. A cup of taho won't surely set you back by more that 25 Pesos. It even has a cup worth 5 Pesos only and that's the usual cup I used to buy when I was younger. :)

I enjoy eating taho using a spoon or just sipping it with a straw especially when it is still warm. I even love it more when the magtataho puts more arnibal in my cup to make my taho sweeter. :)

So classic but taho will be my one of my forever favorite foods. :)
