Juicy wild Blackberries, out in force, what will I make? Jam of course.

I've been watching the berries ripen from red to black for the past few weeks as I walked down the lane to the allotment, & tonight was the night that some pickin' got done.

Here's a picture looking down the lane with the Blackberry bushes on the left. My dog Ted & my two children are also in the picture if you can make them out.

I reckon I was only picking for about 20 minutes but I managed to get around a kilo (2.2lbs) of lovely juicy berries.
