Graduates in Nigeria now result to meaner jobs for survival. The average Nigerian youth has now resulted to internet scam and other related crimes for survival. The government on the other hand are a bunch of heartless and selfish individuals only concerned about how long they would spend in office so their looting of the nations treasury would not come to an end sooner than they expected.
It is very heart touching to know that Nigeria is a country blessed with various natural resources like petroleum, coal, cocoa, gold and so many others yet most of its population still live in extreme poverty due to direct looting and other corrupt practices by its leaders. Nigeria is the fifth largest producer of oil in the world yet its citizens cannot boost of a 24 hour uninterrupted power supply , good roads, affordable health care, a good meal, jobs and even basic education etc. Its a pity and my heart bleeds each time I walk down the streets of warri seeing homeless and out of school children roam the streets begging for food and looking for somewhere to lay their heads each passing night.
THE POWER OF STEEMIT
I joined this great community some few weeks back all thanks to my friend . My journey so far have been very educating and interesting as I have learnt so much these past few days in this community. Also I have seen how steemit has transformed lives in and around my environment both of steemians and charitable works carried out by steemians. Worthy of note is the feed a child project by some well know steemians
and
in company of other team members..
Their passion driven efforts to touch lives in the society is very inspiring. Their recent outing was at the government orphanage home in uyo where the children children were presented with various gift items.. Its indeed heart melting seeing these great works of charity by fellow steemians as its my passion to work tirelessly to eradicate poverty out of Africa.
I believe strongly in the steem blockchain technology and its power to change lives and make the world a better place and if we have like a million steemians like and
in Nigeria alone poverty would be reduced in Nigeria and across Africa . my journey has started and I have already started preaching the power of steem blockchain technology in my community. And together we would join forces to make the world a better place ..
Thanks to
