Checked Out the Fantastic "Istanbul" this Weekend

Last Saturday, Hive account@ezzy and I visited a friend who lives in Ruislip and thus were recommended a good place to eat nearby called “Istanbul”.

Istanbul is a Turkish grill restaurant meze bar, which offers up hot and cold meze, great kebabs as well as fresh salad.

We were given complimentary homemade bread, fresh olive salad and tzatziki before our meal arrived. A very nice touch indeed!

For our main, we ordered a mix of various kebab meat and shared between the four of us. It certainly was a massive platter of food, including a selection of Lamb Shish, Chicken Shish, Adana Kebab, Chicken Wings, Lamb Chops, Lamb Ribs, Lamb Doner & Chicken Doner, served with rice & salad.

I have to say their portions were very generous too. The meat was well cooked and extremely flavoursome, in particularly the Shish Lamb and Chicken. So super delicious!

I had a delightful first-time visit there and enjoyed the excellent service! Will definitely be returning soon…
