Every day we are getting more and more perfectly ripe figs from the tree in my back garden. I am very pleased at the results. Apart from consuming the figs ourselves, there are always plenty left over. So we are giving out these delicious and sweet fruits to our friends and neighbours, to share the love!
One of our friends is so jealous and asked if he could take some branches from the tree around spring time to try to grow the fig tree in their own home. I gladly agreed. Why not! From my own experience, fig trees are an excellent fruit tree to grow in your garden in London, which is easy to grow and care for and you can enjoy the delicious and copious fruits every single year, lol.
