Last Friday, and I were invited to the "Royal Nawaab" for dinner with our friends.
The venue is a beautiful banquet-like hall with elegant crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceilings. This is without doubt the largest Indian buffet restaurant I ever experienced in London.
The restaurant has set out different sections for starters, salads & sauces, main dishes and desserts. Apart from the main front dishes in closed pots to keep the contents warm, there was also a second row where the cooks were catering on-site for grilled lamb chops and grilled chicken.
They offer a huge selection of traditional curry dishes and the food tasted quite authentic and flavoursome! There were also freshly made Paratha, roti and Peshawari Naan to accompany the main dishes, which was all perfect!
One slight downside for me was the busyness of this place. The aisles are quite tight to get about and people seemed to be rushing everywhere for food. So sometimes it was tricky for me to balance my food on the plate as well as dodging people coming at me from all directions.
Having said that, we overall had a very good experience at the "Royal Nawwab" as the food itself was amazing! Enjoy!
