I have read a few comparisons between Sensi Seeds' and Dutch Passion's Durban Poison in which most favor the latter. Honestly speaking if Dutch Passion's Durban Poison is better than this specific one I would be really surprised, as this is top shelf high grade potent, flavorful and strong scented herb.
It's a pleasure already just to look at it, let alone sample these juicy buds.
This is one plant alone, it was grown in a 25 liters / 6.6 gallons DWC bucket. Bucket and air pump, couldn't go more simple than that.
At a certain point during flower this beauty was drinking almost a whole gallon of nutrient solution a day, which goes about 3 to 4 liters. Roots were massive, which actually supported the development of massive buds, especially taking in count it's a Sativa.
This lady took a lot of space in the flowering room but it was well worth it.
I will be definitely focusing more on monster plants in the future rather than several smaller ones. The return is much better and the ease of taking care of less plants is well worth it. The only problem for unexperienced growers would be that it gives you much less margin of error with a reduced number of plants if something happens to go wrong during flower.
The veg period for this lady was about 4 to 5 weeks and it was heavily super-cropped in hopes to create a ScrOG setup which in the end didn't work out as it should but helped tremendously as support for these massive buds.
An image speaks more than a thousand words
After harvest the buds were left to hang on their main stems for about 7 days until the stem snaped with a sound. Barely any manicure was needed as the flower to leaf ratio was really high. The buds as you see hanging there were only stripped of their big fan leaves, nothing else.
The result was 280 grams or 10 ounces of dry and dank bud. On top of that there is also 140 grams / 5 ounces of small buds that I couldn't be bothered with that will become oil.
Smoke report is next...
