Hummus is a high-protein, low-fat super food! All of its ingredients have anticancer (and many other) properties:
- Tahini (sesame): slows growth of prostate, breast, lung, pancreatic, colon cancer and leukemia.
- Chick Peas: kills breast (MDA-MB-231) and prostate (PC-3 and LNCaP) cancer cells.
- Lemon Juice: slows the growth and spread of cancer.
- Vinegar: has antitumor properties among many other.
And many other plant-based ingredients or garnish you may add like:
- Garlic (and onions)
- Mediterranean olive oil
- herbs, spices, or puré vegetables
- Cannabis oil
