It was only a matter of time... I know... I had you at balls right?
A quirky fact:
I actually like to challenge myself to make recipes that are tasty and incredibly good for you...oh and are insanely medicated with a KUSH.
To make this you’ll need:
- 1/4 cup of green banana flour
- 3 tbsp of infused coconut oil (I used Caramel Candy Kush)
- 1/4 cup of 90% dark chocolate (melted)
- 3 tbsp of Swerve (sweetener made from fruits and vegetables)
- 1 cup of macademia nut butter (also made with 3 tbsp of coconut oil infused with Caramel Candy Kush)
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut
(and let’s not forget about the coconut oil infused with kush.)
Directions:
- Add all the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor.
- Blend until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined. (Approximately a minute.)
- Form mixture into small balls and roll in shredded coconut and place on baking sheet.
Pro-tip
If the mixture doesn’t seem firm enough to form into balls that will hold together, just put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or so and the coconut and chocolate will start to harden. This will let you shape the mixture and hold it together.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes. The balls should be like a solid chocolate truffle, a little hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. (There’s a few things I could say right here, but I’ll save you all.) (You’re welcome...I’m Canadian.)
This recipe yields 12 balls.
If you are new to edibles, you’ll cut one of these balls into 4 equal pieces.
If you’re seasoned eat half.
(I ate half. They’re delicious. Good luck.)
They also freeze really well.
I welcome your comments and I invite you to follow me on my journey...green banana balls, (I know I had you at balls.) LOL! (Remember I ate half a ball.)
