There are loads of Thai food spots in Hong Kong.
We went into one of them for a casual, delicious dinner. We went to a great Thai spot called Spice House in Wan Chai.
I got there a bit after 7 and it was buzzing with people and an amazing aroma filled the small, no fuss spot.
Thai Grilled Pork Neck Salad
It’s not just any pork- it’s a super duper soft grilled pork neck meat that’s juicy, tender, nicely marinated, slightly spicy and packs a real kick!! I loved the fragrant herbs, light and spicy marinade it had.
Tom Yum Goong’ soup
I love the sour soup base. It’s this sort of hard to describe- the soup is sour, very addictive and has a lot of heat!
We got a variation of Pad Thai with thick egg noodles, pork, lots of veggies, eggs and finally with just the perfect splash of sweetness. We gobbled up this delicious stir fried noodle dish.
Last but not least was the delicious Mango sticky rice! We were really full but who says no to dessert? “No one ever!”
