I know it is a bit early for Christmas and we still have 1 month until Christmas I still decided to make some rum balls already since I am on call duty the week before Christmas and I might not have time then. I will freeze them in the freezer and hopefully they will still be good on Christmas evening. Me my brother and my stepfather like rum balls very much and that's why they are always seen with pleasure in my family. I consider making some other sweets like cookies too for Christmas eve but freezing them is not so easy and it will be easier to make them a few days before christmas. And christmas is just around the corner, just one month and a few days and christmas is here.
Rum balls are pretty easy to make and taste always very good. You only need some chocolate, eggs, some rum, sugar and coconut flakes. Since their main consistency is from butter and chocolate you don't need to cook them but keeping them cold in the fridge is a good advice.
