Herceg Novi is a very charming Mediterranean town in the Bay of Boka, especially the old part of the town. The photo shows an old fortress - the Forte Mare building, located in the south of the Old Town. The fortress was built in the 14th century and represents the beginning of a medieval city. It had been changing its appearance over the time due to the reign of various rulers. Today, the fortress is successfully restored and serves for different cultural events.
