There is a movie directed by Ang Lee called "Eat Drink Man Woman" depicting similar scenes in my family: the old dad prepares a fancy dinner every weekend and the stories of his three daughters are related to the dinner because only then every one is relaxed and willing to open his/her heart. This is the same here: Sunday lunch is the precious time when we can put aside cellphones and have face-to-face conversations.
不知不觉这个系列竟然都写到第四集了，相信很多人都跟我家一样，儿女们在周末携着一家人到父母家蹭饭，而父母们倾注一天的心血做一桌子饭菜寄托的是对儿女放不下的关心，到成年以后也许只能放在饭桌上了吧。就像李安的那部饮食男女电影开头，一到周末退休大厨老父亲必然要拾起自己的手艺准备盛宴就盼着三个女儿回家，而电影的起承转合都在这爱心大餐上了：二女儿买了房子要搬出去是在饭桌上宣布的，三女儿未婚先孕准备结婚是在饭桌上宣布的，独处多年的大女儿宣布结婚是在饭桌上，就连结尾最意外的父亲的新恋情是在饭桌上公开的。把一幕幕矛盾融合在一道道菜里看到现在还是李安处理的非常细腻，父母和子女的羁绊表现得很真实，因为我自己也做了母亲，回想这部电影也会想象20，30年后的自己也会像那位老父亲那样吗？
