

This classic regional dish, only found in Sarawak (tho you get knockoffs in other parts of the country). Is the quintessential Sarawakian thing. Yes, there's even a halal version with chicken meat in place of pork.
It's something I look forward to everytime I fly back to my hometown.
Kolok mee is spring-ier than wantan mee, and it's not served drenched in soup. Also, the (natural) coloring is important.
The Kolok Mee is local cuisine of Sarawak. If you ever stop by this part of Asia, you need to try this. Not to mention is cheap too! Real Kolok Mee should not cost more than $1 USD.
