A Gujrati ( west part of India) cuisine which is very healthy and delicious is called Dhokla. It is a favourite dish in our house which we all enjoy. Mommy doesn’t mind when kids demand as it is healthy , flavoursome savoury dish which can be eaten any time whether it is for morning breakfast or tea time snacks.
It is Khaman Dhokala fluffy, mild tangy- sweet, soft little wet steamed cake made from besan ( Bengal geam flour), just a tadka ( sautéed garnish) of mustard seeds, asafoetida , sesame seeds, green chilli( optional), grated coconut, green coriander leaves and liitle sweet water sprinkled over it.
This delectable tangy, sweet and sour delicacy is ready.
