More than half of women think that rape victims should take responsibility for their assault, a survey has found.
BUT I ASK, IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE?. WHICH EVER WAY, THEY HAVE BEEN DENIED SOME PRIVILEGE AND HAVE BEEN AFFLICTED.
We have all heard these incidence happen to our loved once, friends, families, enemies and many others. I guess you are wondering what i want to arrive at.

RAPE!!
There have been series of cases reported and a number of unreported ones.Not only #rape but sexually assaulted.
- Want to let you know how some men still recognise women in this era.
History recounts that, women were seen as servants to their husbands. And all that they were married for was #sex #cooking #household chores.And taking care of #children at home.
That's all we were noted for.And failure to do so would cause your divorce or physical abuse by your husband.
Tho it seems to be an outmoded practice yet some nations towns and kingdoms still practice these things.And i always speak for #my #Africa more importantly #Ghana
These are just statistics to show the number of cases in some countries.
Which age group do these cases record more and why ? Might the age be a factor?. AND WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT?.😏
Firstly I think Sexual maturity counts .WITHIN THE PUBERTY Age.Due to genetic difference , the age may differ but ranges .At these times girls become sexually matured and active .Not only that but attractive on all sides also.
My story....
Almost every victim has a story to tell.Either lured into the trap or forced into the act.Which ever way She was abused."I have a victim by chance". Does it sound familiar....?? . It is easy to speak against an act of such kind and blame the #Victims than to be in their shoes.
To some they suppose , the ladies like it after all ....mmm as to whether is true i cant tell but one thing im sure of is that , The #Trauma alone kills before anything else comes in place .
- Others are physically assaulted. Beaten up and given drugs .😖
WHAT HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT?
There have been massive rallies and protest organised by victims and families.Women in action.
#Here in Ghana , massive campaigns have been done to educative the young ladies on such staffs and how to go about them when they fall victims.
#JusticeForKids is an art portraying the silencing of young kids abused sexually because they are small and any small warnings would scare them. Nationwide these fliers were used as Profile pictures , statues and wall pictures just to create that sense of awareness.
There are a lot on effects of #rape on victims and the society.A few of which are
- Many get frightened on seeing men
- Leaves no room in the hearts of these victims for the love of men
- Trauma
- Sexually transmitted disease.
- Unwanted Pregnancies
- Psychological and mental disorder
- Pain (abdominal)
- Destructed life.( visions and goals are killed or destructed after such incidents)
- Social neglect
All we ask is help.Put A STOP TO RAPE ....
$Injustice on the side of people to defend such cases cause us much pain.$
