Finally! I got to meet the one and only Hive account@superoo7 two days ago. Some of the #teammalaysia gang have met him before he flew off to Australia and abandon us. He went there to further his studies but we do keep in touch a lot through discord.

Hive account@superoo7 is an IT expert, I don't know if that's the correct term used but yea... He has contributed A LOT to Steemit and when I say A LOT, I really mean it. He has done some debugging for Steemit, got himself very involved in a lot of top initiatives on the platform and most importantly, he has coded a discord bot for #teammalaysia. Without him, a lot of administration in the #teammalaysia discord has to be done manually, for example, our curation trail that support ALL #teammalaysia members.

So when I heard he was coming back for 3 weeks, I was stoked to meet him. And for that 3 weeks that he has been here, I only got to meet him once! Well, he did say that he will be coming back year end for a long break and by then we'll probably have lots more opportunity.

Big Hug Burgers & Durian

As you all know, #teammalaysia LOVE a Durian feast and we usually have em before dinner. As I was working till 6pm, I couldn't make it for the durian feast FOR THE FIRST TIME because of the heavy traffic during off work hours. Fortunately, I managed to make my way to the dinner party at Big Hug Burgers where you can Pay With Steem!

Yes, you heard that right.

Hive account@danielwong and his burger joint have since accepted payment in Steem/SBD. This is why when we have international Steemians at our shores, we would have our meetup here. A lot of them said that it felt really surreal to experience what its like to be part of a cashless society. Imagine in a few years time, we only need to bring our mobile phones for payment. alt

I was greeted by this signboard outside right smack in the middle of the corridor. As I looked inside, I saw that it was nearly packed because it was dinnertime. A lot of university students come to this burger joint after class. I was then quickly greeted with another signage outside the door front.

Now who doesn't like free stuff. I know that this coming week and the next, I'll be meeting someone from the Qurator initiative that goes by the name of Hive account@scrooger.... and he'll be giving me 'free stuff'. Yay!

'The Pulled One'

I ordered their new signature burger. Well not so much of a burger but a subway pork. It was juicy to bits and it was cooked just nice.

There were a few #teammalaysia members who came to meet Hive account@superoo7. They were Hive account@bitrocker2020, Hive account@littlenewthings, Hive account@kymio, Hive account@aaronleang(organizer), Hive account@karinzdailygrind(whom I haven't met in awhileeee), Hive account@davidke20, Hive account@chloephuan93 and Superoo's girlfriend.

We talked all night till Big Hug Burgers have to close its doors. It was pretty quick actually. I guess timeflies when you're spending it well with awesome peeps ey.

Come to think of it.... I actually do not know Hive account@superoo7's real name... :O
