Salad "Bakhor".
I suggest you a recipe of a delicious, refreshing salad "Bakhor" from Uzbek cuisine. This salad is prepared from fresh vegetables with the addition of meat, cheese and eggs. For this dish, you can use poultry meat, lamb or beef. My version with beef. For salad dressing, you can use mayonnaise, sour cream or yogurt.
To prepare a salad "Bakhor" we need:
Beef - 300 g;
Tomato - 2 pcs .;
Fresh cucumber - 2 pcs .;
Onion - 1 pc .;
Garlic - 1 clove;
Cheese hard - 100 g;
Eggs boiled - 3 pieces;
Greens (dill, parsley) - 1 bunch;
Yogurt (mayonnaise or sour cream) - to taste;
Salt, pepper - to taste.
Beef pre-cooked in salted water. Cook for about 1 hour until the meat is tender. Then cool and cut into cubes.
Onion cut into half rings, pour boiling water and rinse with running water to remove excess bitterness.
Dice the boiled eggs.
Cut cucumbers and tomatoes with thin straws, put them in a deep bowl, add onion and chopped garlic.
Add vegetables to meat and eggs.
Grate the grated cheese and chop the greens. Add to the salad.
Salad "Bahor" pepper and salt to taste. Season with mayonnaise, sour cream or yoghurt.
