Addition Of Three and Four Numbers Vertically Worksheets

This post is continuation of addition strategies for 3rd grade math. We will discuss adding three or four numbers vertically. Kids get a lot of chances to practice addition with regrouping in the worksheets I am sharing in this post.

Very similar method as the previous addition methods; add ones vertically and carry forward if the sum is ten or more. But when we add three or four numbers vertically, many times the sum we get is more than even 20, in such cases 2 will be carried forward. Specially when we add four numbers there are many occasions when the sum of a column is more than 20.

Each problem in the following worksheet is quite time consuming for little ones and they need a lot of patience and courage to finish each worksheet. I noticed that kids who finish these worksheets become very sharp in addition, subtraction and grasping the future math concepts in higher grades.
