The State Chairman of All Grand Alliance Party (AGAP) Imo state, Chief Ugo C. Ugo has stated that his party is now fully set to attend the inauguration of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha on the 29^th of May 2019 in grand style.

Speaking to some newsmen recently, Chief Ugo stated that part of the preparations his party is making is to prepare banners to be mounted on the day before the inauguration. He went further to reveal that his party will mobilize at least Three Hundred supporters and dance group like the “Agaba Masquerade” to add colour to the memorable event.

On those who took Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha to the tribunal, Chief Ugo is of the opinion that the best thing they should do for Imo people is to withdraw such cases and support the governor-Elect Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha towards rebuilding Imo state, which he has just started by inaugurating technical Committees and inauguration committee that is all inclusive. Chief Ugo went further to posit that the collective will of Imo people as expressed on the 9^th of March 2019, which gave victory to Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha should not be played with by any person or group of persons, so as not to attract the wrath of God and ugly reaction of Imo people.

On what he wants the Governor-Elect to address on assumption of office, the AGAP chairman posited that the task ahead for Rt. Hon. Ihedioha is very enormous because Imo state is in total shambles but through God’s wisdom and direction, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha being a well experienced administrator will address all the problems ahead through the cooperation of Imo people. On the alleged looting of government property, Chief Ugo frowned at the ugly situation and cautioned those involved to be careful not to provoke the Imo people that are already bottled with anger over the mal-administration of the outgoing government. He advised Imo people to use whistle blowing method to expose those involved in the looting of government property in their vicinity, because so much has been looted.
