Photo-inspired portrait of a man. I started this piece with a pencil and used cross-hatching with a pen for the darker subtle shades. Finished off with a splash of color for contrast. Hope you enjoyed.

Felt colorful today and thought I'd experiment a little with some mixed media. This is a portrait I started with graphite, charcoal and pastel. Didn't really have a theme until I decided to finish it off

Drawing hands alone has it's challenges but getting the proportions down in a series of different poses was an exercise I tried here. Sharing some quick rough sketches of hands in variations and techniques.
