For an anime that no one knows or remembers having seen, it has an interesting story to tell. Normally this type of anime ends up going completely unnoticed because it is a genre that not everyone is attracted to. It is true that science fiction attracts a lot of attention and more to those of my generation, but the way **Japan** uses this genre in their stories and animated series is very different from what we see in American cinema. However, instead of seeing an overview of such a post-apocalyptic world, we see is the daily life of a young man named **Natsuki Ikaruga**, who as we saw above lives alone on a boat isolated from society, a society that is not in its best times after the great flood. The discovery of **Atri**, a girl-shaped android very similar to a real human being will change his life completely. On the one hand we will see how Natsuki seeks to discover what her late grandmother has been working on until recently before the disaster and what secrets this android has, which, by the way, is determined to serve the protagonist and be of use to him, although it seems she doesn't seem to know how to do anything well. Of the few sci-fi anime I've seen so far, this is one of the ones that caught my attention the most because of how different it is from most. Either because they try to tell us what seems to be a love story with drama and mystery in a world consumed by chaos and water; or simply because of the special way they tell us this story with well-developed characters and relationships that transcend time and reality. At least in the case of **Natsuki** and **Atri** there are several interesting things to mention, leaving aside the particular relationship they begin to have, which one could say that this, together with Atri's naive and hyperactive personality is what gives the story its humor. But, the interesting thing about this girl-like android is how realistic it seems to be, so much so that it manages to mimic human emotions and expressions so well that it is surprising. However, the mysteries she has and her origin make this vision of her change completely as the anime develops into something more than a simple love story between master and servant machine. >! Sin embargo, en vez que ver una vista general de dicho mundo post-apocalíptico, vemos es la vida diaria de de un joven llamado **Natsuki Ikaruga**, quien como vimos arriba vive solo en un barco aislado de la sociedad, una sociedad que no está en sus mejores épocas luego de la gran inundación. El descubrimiento de **Atri**, un androide con forma de niña muy similar a un ser humano real le cambiará la vida por completo. Por un lado veremos cómo Natsuki busca descubrir qué es lo que su difunta abuela ha estado trabajando hasta hace poco antes del desastre y qué secretos tiene este androide que, por cierto, está decidida a servirle al protagonista y serle de utilidad, aunque parece que no sabe hacer nada bien. > > De los pocos animes de ciencia ficción que he visto hasta ahora, este es uno de los que más me llamaron la atención por lo diferente que es a la mayoría. Ya sea porque nos intentan contar lo que pareciera ser una historia de amor con drama y misterio en un mundo consumido por el caos y el agua; o simplemente es por la forma tan especial de contarnos esta historia con personajes bien desarrollados y relaciones que trascienden el tiempo y la realidad. Al menos en el caso de **Natsuki** y **Atri** hay varias cosas interesantes por mencionar, dejando de lado la particular relación que empiezan a tener, la cual se podría decir que eso, junto con la personalidad tan ingenua e hiperactiva de Atri es lo que le da ese humor a la historia. Pero, lo interesante de este androide con forma de niña es lo realista que parece ser, tanto que consigue imitar tan bien las emociones y expresiones del ser humano que es sorprendente. Now, on the subject of what these big tech companies were looking for, it is closely related to the origin of **Atri**, which is better not to say anything more so as not to generate so many spoilers. But, while it is true that this anime is nothing more than a personal story, we can also see a beginning and an end of a future where the same technology is the one that saves the entire humanity, or at least those who are left of it, so to speak. También está el uso de los paisajes y los paneles fijos, lo cual es agradable. En cuanto al diseño de los personajes tampoco hay ninguna queja, están bien hechos, y destacan muy bien lo que son las expresiones y emociones que se intentan transmitir cada uno. Lo mismo va con los efectos de sonido, los cuales están bien agregados y sin ningún detalle negativo. La banda sonora es también agradable, emocionante y a la vez relajante incluso, motivando y generando todo lo que se intenta transmitir en cada segundo de cada capítulo.
