Me encanta la temática de este martes en [Encuentro de Talentos: "Travesuras"](https://peakd.com/hive-147177/@talentos/encuentro-de-talentos-travesuras) y es que nos invitan a hablar de nuestras travesuras, prácticamente a todo tiempo, de niños, adultos... La cuestión es que te vayas a tus recuerdos más recónditos y recuerdes esos momentos que pusieron esa nota divertida y hasta de peligro en tus ocurrencias traviesas, y esto me trajo a la mente unas que aún hoy día lo recuerdo con mucha nitidez de mi infancia. Empecemos. Cuando tenía como 8 años, recién llegada del pueblo de mi abuela, donde la naturaleza reinaba, llegué a la ciudad a vivir a uno de los tantos barrios y recuerdo que cerca de casa había como un patio, según yo, donde había muchos árboles, plantas, pero este parecía como una colina en descenso. Este lugar quedaba en la casa de una vecina; allí había árboles frutales y demás, pero tenías que descender. Recuerdo que a una amiguita y a mí nos pareció genial meternos allí, bajar por ese cerro y ponernos a jugar a la comidita con lo que teníamos a mano: tierra, piedrecillas, frutas; allí nuestra imaginación era la protagonista, nos perdimos en nuestro juego y no nos percatamos del tiempo. Hasta que oímos las voces de nuestros padres llamándonos, pero a gritos destemplados; para cuando respondimos, recuerdo que nuestros papás nos gritaron que no nos moviéramos, que ellos nos iban a buscar. Mi amiga y yo nos vimos las caras, pues no entendíamos el porqué de esas instrucciones, pues a nosotras nos parecía fácil salir de donde nos habíamos metido..., pero para cuando vi la cara de mi padre, en el acto supe que estaba en problemas, aunque no entendía por qué. Después de eso no me quedaron ganas de seguir inspeccionando terrenos desconocidos. Ahora, cuando ya somos adultos, hacemos diferentes tipos de travesuras, pero ya con mucha más conciencia de lo que vamos a hacer; entre varias que se me vienen a la mente, recuerdo una muy divertida. Cuando estaba trabajando hace ya unos cuantos años, yo tenía a un amigo muy enamoradizo que siempre tenía varias enamoradas. Pero había una chica en especial que a él le gustaba mucho y ella vendía comidas para las oficinas y nos ofrecía sus menús todos los días y él siempre le compraba comida y, para cuando ella lo llamaba por teléfono o le llevaba la comida, él se derretía ante su voz o su presencia. Todos los compañeros de trabajo le hacíamos broma al respecto, hasta que un día a mí y a un amigo en común, también compañero de trabajo, decidimos hacerle una pequeña travesura. Resulta que yo imitaba muy bien la forma de hablar de la chica y siempre le hacía bromas imitándola, y mi amigo solo se reía al ver la pericia mía para imitar a la chica de sus sueños. Ese día en cuestión, decidimos hacerle una llamada y, por supuesto, me iba a hacer pasar por ella. Recuerdo que ella tenía una forma muy característica de pronunciar la palabra "pasticho" de una forma muy sugestiva que a mi amigo le alborotaba las hormonas, ya que parecía que le estaba ofreciendo otras cosas, jajajaja. Entonces le realicé la llamada, con ese tono sugestivo, ofreciéndole su anhelado "pastichito", y ese hombre cambió la voz, la cara se le puso roja, tartamudeaba; todo esto lo estábamos viendo, ya que realicé la llamada desde una oficina aledaña y las divisiones eran con vidrios, así que lo teníamos en todo su esplendor de alboroto. Llegó un momento en que no aguantamos y las risas nos delataron; él estaba tan embelesado hablando por teléfono que no nos vio. Esa fue la anécdota de la oficina y todavía cuando nos vemos le digo: "Hola, mi amor, ¿quieres pastichito?"; y eso es motivo para volvernos a reír. Bueno, mis queridos, disfruté mucho contándoles estas anécdotas. Let’s begin. When I was about 8 years old, having just arrived from my grandmother’s village, where nature reigned, I moved to the city to live in one of the many neighborhoods. I remember that near our house there was what I thought of as a courtyard, where there were many trees and plants, but it looked like a sloping hill. This place was on a neighbor’s property; there were fruit trees and such, but you had to go down the slope. I remember that a little friend and I thought it was great to go in there, go down that hill, and start playing house with whatever we had on hand: dirt, pebbles, fruit; there, our imagination took center stage, we got lost in our game, and we didn’t notice the time passing. Until we heard our parents’ voices calling us, but shouting wildly; by the time we answered, I remember our dads yelling at us not to move, that they were coming to get us. My friend and I looked at each other, because we didn’t understand the reason for those instructions—it seemed easy to us to get out of where we’d gotten ourselves into… but when I saw my father’s face, I knew right away that I was in trouble, even though I didn’t understand why. Our parents pulled us out with great care, and by the time we realized what was happening, we were already grounded, still without understanding what we’d done. It turns out that there had been a landslide in that area due to the rain, and the whole area was prone to further landslides—we could have been swept away along with the trees, plants, and snacks, hahahahaha; we had wandered into a dangerous zone at risk of landslides. After that, I lost all desire to keep exploring unfamiliar terrain. Now that we’re adults, we get into all kinds of mischief, but with much more awareness of what we’re doing; among the many things that come to mind, I remember one that was really funny. A few years ago, when I was working, I had a friend who was a real romantic and always had several girlfriends. But there was one girl in particular he really liked—she sold food to the offices and offered us her menus every day. He always bought food from her, and whenever she called him on the phone or brought him his meal, he’d melt at the sound of her voice or her presence. All of us coworkers would tease him about it, until one day a mutual friend of ours—who was also a coworker—and I decided to play a little prank on him. It turns out I was really good at imitating the way the girl spoke, and I’d always joke around by mimicking her, and my friend would just laugh at how skillfully I could imitate the girl of his dreams. On that particular day, we decided to give him a call, and of course, I was going to pretend to be her. I remember she had a very distinctive way of pronouncing the word “pasticho” in a very suggestive way that really got my friend’s hormones racing, since it sounded like she was offering him other things, hahaha. So I made the call, using that suggestive tone, offering him his longed-for “pastichito,” and that guy changed his voice, his face turned red, he stuttered; we could see all of this, since I made the call from a nearby office and the partitions were made of glass, so we had him in all his flustered glory. There came a point when we couldn’t hold it in anymore, and our laughter gave us away; he was so engrossed in talking on the phone that he didn’t see us. That was the office anecdote, and even now when we see each other, I say to him, “Hi, sweetheart, do you want a pastichito?”—and that’s enough to make us laugh all over again.
