# Renewing Our Mind: Seven 'Secrets' to Spiritual Health

### Renewal of our mind In order to do God's will - we need to ***know*** His will. Knowing God's will by renewing our mind not only logically, but **spiritually.** We want to be in a state where we do what's right, God's will, intuitively, without having to **ask** God first and wait - perhaps let an opportunity to fill a need pass by. > *What is God's Will? How can we know His will? It's not a *secret,* because it is in the Bible for us to see, and use as a guide to ***righteous living.*** Join me today to delve into God's Word for edification and empowerment. --- > Seven Secrets to Spiritual Health Show Notes and Video (Hr 2)

# *Segment 1* - Last week: Power of Christ/Break Chain - How to realize power of Christ in us - requires righteous living/Knowing God's will/spiriual health - I realized that I needed to talk about how to get to that point - that total confidence - faith --- # **Segement 2** SotK Moving - sacrifice of Jesus perspective --- # *Segment 3* ## Mind renewal - Auto pilot as what Jesus wants us to do - Wait for God to move? - God to move though you - rather than getting out of the way so God bypasses you - Think talk/ act/ speak like Jesus did - Not bcs of indoctrination - to a point where we KNOW what is right - goal not to learn 1000 techniques but to internalize the princples of God's word so we automatically know what to do - Example: Confession with mouth but not in Spirit - Do you KNOW Jesus/Will Jesus know you? - Ex: Pray automatically, react before thought, a natural reaction - Draw a child back from stepping onto road - And we need to have that relationship with Christ - someone else's heart? - Determine the will of God - by DOING the right thing - Not to void your mind - Instrinscally engrained into out spirit --- # Segment 4 ## Keys to Spiritual Power - Power of God is mechanical - Once said - it's done, law, light be Example: Moses struck the rock/You have not hallowed my name... > *Numbers 20:11–12 (KJV 1900) 11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.* Amazing: Moses wrong to keep him out of the promised land - but the Word of God still stood->Water was drawn Modern theology: He shoudn't have gotten the water: *if its not God's will - it's not supposed to happen I prayed for this person - must not be God's will: LIE* God's will is not automatically done - otherwise God would be responsible for so many to go to hell In this manner shall ye pray: It is not God's will that people shall perish... Timothey We are co-laborers with God to bring about His will How do I know God's Will? To do that, 1st mind renewed to know what God's will is. Work with God rather than puppet But man wants to short his responsibility and make God respobsible for everything So they can step back - it ain't my fault Take responsiblity - healing, ministry, praying --- ### HUNGER Start of everything with God is the desire. > Matthew 5:3–11 (KJV 1900) 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. - Blessed part not hungering - but filled - Blessed -> why -> Comforted - As long as hunger/not filled/Want to be filled - Natural analogies to give spiritual truths - John Chapter 4: Anyone who drinks this water will never be thirsty again - Filled with righteousness - Desire/hunger - Not the same hunger - become His righeteousness **Now I desire not to be filled to do His will.** How to develop the desire to be filled: With Discipline / disciples... No Discipline not a discpiple of Christ - Do things you don't want to do: Eat when you don't want to - grow spiritually - purposefully condition oneself - Go vist an elderly person - Clean the house - Not watch that film or soap - Read the word of God - Pray - Minister - Help Getting credit for it... Create desire/hunger ## Feeding on the Word of God - Read find out what's going on - Study go back - take it apart inline word by word - - Meditate for revelation meditate- muttering - chewing it t release --- # Segment 5 ## Communion with God - **Talking prayer** most people - predicated by crisis - the worse - the faster and longer you talk - **Listening prayer** Shut up - let God talk to you: Telephone example Phon rings, Hello, yea, but hm... Talk to you later - Who are you talking to: Nobody - didn't get to talk - - Practsing the presence of God - Be still and know that I am God - sense of condemnation - arms length, - sense God, feel his presence But God is not about feeling. It's about making a decision to have faith - to love God. Emotions are fickle. A movie can make yo laugh and cry within minutes - But the Word of God stands. Not emotion and gold dust. If we go by feelings, the enemy will make sure just begfore you pray or do something - he will deflate your emotions. How foolish to think that the power of God woud rise or lower dependent upon our emotions? GOD'S power not dependent on emotions. ---

## Fellowship with like minded Christians, bcs we are going to be lowered Show me your friends and I tell you who you are... - Yes, ministr, etc. - Majority of people are unglodly? You may become ungodly - Find people who believe - and your faith increases - If need be - I walk alone - Walk with God isntead of someone taking me in the wrong direction - Listen to sermons to be close to godly people - Church is dead? Leave - my grandparents went to church there - burried --- # Secrets Segment 6 ## Public confesson who he is in you and who yo are in Him ### (1) Quick Wins - JESUS is LORD - He is Lord over me - over my family - over my health - over my finances - over my city - over my nation - Begin saying that to manifest that truth - Louder and stronger - walk around confess ## (1) Great Commission - Mat 28 Mark 16 - I preach the gospel - Not a preacher - yes your are you just don't know it - Preach with your life - with words - preach every way - I lay hands on the sick and they do recover in Jesus' name - Take verses and make them into statements - Once you say it - do them - otherwise lying - dynamic progression - ## (2) Golden Rule Matthew 7:12 > Matthew 7:12 (KJV 1900) 12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. As you do that - you are starting to pick up what needs to be done. You are empowered by God, and you will sense a rush of that empowerment - arenaline ## (3) I have an annointing > 1 John 2:27 (KJV 1900) 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Build that into you! ## (4) Luke 10:19 > Luke 10:19 (KJV 1900) 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. I have power, authority over the ability of the enemy and nothing shall be any means hurt me. Over and over again. This is how to get your mind renewed. That's what Jesus did: It is written. If it's good enough for Jesus - it will work for you! ## (5) John 14:12 (KJV 1900) > 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Why? Because He went to the Father. Not because of fasting and prayer. Sin & disease was defeated. Devils were defeated. All of heavens resources/power/ Poverty/afflictions everything listens. Names are written in heaven - all of heaven is behind you. ## (6) Praying in tongues Divesity of tongues Dr John J Lake said, praaynig in tongues was the making of his great healing ministry. - different tongues - **1 Loud why?** Because you don't want to! Bcs flesh doesn't want to you pray loud - differnet types of tongues - **low tongues** - headache prayer - mumble - that's a maintenance prayer but not put you over in a crisis - **crisis needs strong tongues** come out of the very belly of your spirit - come out in strength and you direct them - Let God take the sounds and take them into what He needs - battering ram to fix that situation - Bcs Bible says: If you don't know how to pray- pray in tongues - Maybe not the best way to pray in walmart - but it does work - **Pray Long** Exercise, stop watch - Stamamina to pray 1-1.5 hours out loud you can handle any situation that needs to be addressed - That should be normal level - But warfare 2-3 hours - Why? BEcause there is so much that needs to be done - Building spiritual and physical stamina - Walk 1 hour English out - tongues in - **Pray wth intensity** - fight because life may depend on it - It is addictive Does not preclude acting on the Word of God No prompting: Just do it. Sick: heal Speak life - encourage ## (7) Lose people: Easiest and hardest thing It is a law of the human mind that I can act myself into believing faster than I can believe myself into acting. John G Lake ACT on the WORD OF GOD Do what you know Not doing - then learng becomes a curse Higher level - bigger devil Comes by knowing - more responsible More responsible- more has enemy against yu It seems the more your grow up - the less of God's active protection is there. God expects you to protect yourself - not lile a little child - not a doctrine - or rule. Just my experience. Believe for protection - predicated upon doing the word of God The change you make has to do be to act upon your knowledge Can't make yourself holy - righteous - He did for you ***Do what you learn - obedient*** Hearer not doer. James 1:22 > James 1:22 (KJV 1900) 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
