Hello, Hive. Genshin Impact was one of the first games I featured on my blog. I have been playing since day one, five years ago. I am a witness to its ages, meta changes, and favored elements through the years and updates. Sadly, the Cryo element was neglected for a very long time, but things are changing again. With Mavuika and Citlali, the game has been experiencing good changes overall. In this update, we all saw the arrival of a long-awaited players' desire, the resurgence and buff of Cryo through the latest character, Escoffier. This comes from a long past of choosing this element in games like Final Fantasy (favoring Shiva and Blizzaga over everything). My first Cryo character was Chongyun. He is a four-star, broadblade user whose style and personality made me feel connected to him. Over time, Ganyu appeared, and I main her in an instant. Then, early beta tests spoke of a blue-haired, Japanese-style katana user who had a Cryo vision. My Shirasagi Himegimi (White Heron Princess) was my most anticipated character, and it was only after a year that players had access to her. She was the character I sought to develop further by acquiring her constellations and weapon. Currently, my Ayaka is C2R1, and I was so proud of her back then, clearing endgame content like a breeze with her fan. Then, the Dendro element attacked, and shortly after, the Cryo element stopped being relevant for years. The Latest updates have brought Cryo relevance back with Citlali, melt reaction, and the forthcoming of Skirk, who profiles herself as a replacement for Ayaka. >Desde la versión 1.0, mi elemento favorito en Genshin Impact ha sido Cryo. Esto viene de una larga tradición de elegir este elemento en juegos como Final Fantasy (prefiriendo a Shiva y Blizzaga por encima de todo). Mi primer personaje Cryo fue Chongyun. She is a fontainian chef and a polearm, Cryo user who has a support role for Cryo and Hydro teams. She comes with a tremendous buff tied to a condition. "When there are 1/2/3/4 Hydro or Cryo characters in the party, Escoffier will decrease the Hydro RES and Cryo RES of any opponents hit by her Elemental Skill, Low-Temperature Cooking, or her Elemental Burst, scoring Cuts, by 5%/10%/15%/55% for 12s." So, as a support unit, Escoffier will decrease elemental resistance, but this is not dependent on specific actions or talent levels. Instead, the main requirement is to bring the most cryo or hydro characters to the party as possible, being ideal to bring only those types of units. The path is clear then, a freeze team is her niche. When her abilities hit the enemies, the debuff is activated, and damage from those elements will increase. The duration is long enough, and the refreshing is easy to achieve, having no uptime for this debuff. >Aquí es donde entra Scoffier. A new Ayaka Team

The Kamisato Art: Soumetsu is her most powerful technique and source of damage. She deals up to 18 cuts to the enemy, and if the target is large enough, 2 secondary sakura whirls will also hit. These whirls are acquired with her constellation 2. Her damage here revolves around 23k and 4.6k, which sum up to 519k. >Aquí pueden ver el daño puro de Ayaka en un equipo de congelación. Yet, that buff only lasted five hits, and what I would usually do is return to Shenghe for a recast of her skill to obtain five more buffed hits. The rest of the cuts reach only 37k and 7k. Building Supports

Here you can see the support builds for all the remaining characters. Escoffier is using the Millelith set to buff atk with her skill, Furina is subdps, and Citlali is using the Natlan support set with her signature weapon, which also buffs damage while protected by a shield. >Aquí puedes ver las configuraciones de apoyo de los demás personajes. Highest Damage Achieved

You can see that the highest numbers reached are 51.8k and 10.3k. The total sum of cuts gives 1 million damage to her! That is double what I obtained with her alone. You can also notice that the damage decreases the second Furina's ult effect vanishes, so it is important to have the times of each ability in mind and be as quick as possible. There are a couple more improvements this team could include, like equipping Furina with the Noblesse set and obtaining Escoffier's signature weapon, which gives an atk buff. Nonetheless, I am very happy with this upgrade for my princess, and I will keep working on this team for improvements. >Realicé la siguiente rotación: Definitiva y habilidad elemental de Furina, habilidad elemental y definitiva de Escoffier, habilidad elemental y definitiva de Citlali, y por último, dash, habilidad elemental y definitiva de Ayaka. Escoffier Solo Damage

In support mode with the build I showed. She reached 8k with her skill and almost 40k with her ult. On a more DPS build, she almost doubles those numbers up to 14k for the skill and 60k for her ult. That is a great addition to the total output this team can have, but I still prefer to polish her support build and focus on Ayaka as a carry. To summarize, Escoffier is a great addition for Cryo and Hydro fans. Freeze team was a great formation to have, and she sure adds to it. Fontain characters have been broken, and she was no exception. If you love Cryo teams and characters as I do, I recommend acquiring her; no regrets here. >Como nota adicional, Escoffier puede añadir algo de daño considerable al equipo.
