Today I ran some errands, did some shopping, and visited various places around my city—partly to walk and get some exercise, as my doctor recommended, and partly just for my own enjoyment, because I love walking through the streets of my city; even though I’ve known it my whole life, it always surprises me every time I go out to explore it, and I never tire of seeing it and photographing it. And when I do, I feel the need to share with you what my eyes see. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/brujita18/23x1Dc23CXFMSVnxkXxFNBm7QpGVhZqYxxZgCB3hP4MWzC99nQ89vFw6gXo8KgwLtngbS.png) People’s daily lives, the coming and going of cars and the subway, my visits to the different shopping centers—which always have new things on display whenever I go—and, besides, I love observing the combination of the city’s urban landscape and nature; because my city is a very colorful city, filled with trees, plants, and flowers, and surrounded by our imposing Mount Ávila, which can be seen from any point in the city, since it completely encircles it. You could say that Caracas is a valley bordered by beautiful mountains no matter where you look at it from. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/brujita18/23vYd52nN9KPqeSpmi3pMXvqytT2hb358SsBiiacxHN5kB85sbpaT5QZFHcNjhY7LWaLz.png) But aside from that, I also like to walk through the different spaces we have available, such as plazas, walking paths, parks of all kinds, and the various stores for whatever you want or are looking for. As my friends say, the thing is, you just need to have money to treat yourself to whatever you want; in my case, after walking quite a bit and doing my shopping, the tropical heat of these lands got to me, and I decided to eat a delicious fruit popsicle—in this case, blackberry, filled with condensed milk; it was really tasty. For now, I wanted to show you some of our streets, avenues, shops, and businesses as part of one of my routines that I love to do every now and then, because there’s nothing like going out to see how life unfolds and enjoying what we love. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/brujita18/23w2esv6dBP6VZo5HLrTJgK1eaHWKxLqyxiXSVsaxddE2AahpF7xWzvtk1dUDR2E3QJjz.png) El día de hoy estuve haciendo varias diligencias, unas compras y unas visitas a varios lugares de mi ciudad, con el propósito de caminar y hacer ejercicios también, según las indicaciones de mi médico y también por gusto propio, pues me encanta transitar por las calles de mi ciudad, porque aunque la conozco desde que soy yo, siempre me sorprende cada vez que salgo a recorrerla y es que no me canso de verla y fotografiarla y, al hacerlo, nace en mí la necesidad de compartirles lo que mis ojos ven. La cotidianidad de las personas, el ir y venir de los carros, del metro, mis visitas también a los diferentes centros comerciales, que cada vez que los visito tienen cosas nuevas en exhibición y, aparte, me encanta observar la combinación entre el urbanismo propio de la ciudad y la naturaleza; porque mi ciudad es una ciudad muy colorida, acompañada de árboles, plantas, flores y rodeada por nuestra imponente montaña Ávila, que se puede divisar desde cualquier punto de la ciudad, ya que la rodea completamente. Se podría decir que Caracas es un valle bordeado por hermosas montañas desde donde se le mire. Pero aparte de eso, también me gusta caminar por los diferentes espacios que tenemos a disposición, como plazas, caminerías, parques de todo tipo y las diferentes tiendas para todo lo que se quiera y se busque. Como dicen mis amigas, lo que hay es que tener dinero para darse cualquier gusto; en mi caso, luego de caminar bastante y realizar mis compras, me atacó el calor tropical de estas tierras y decidí comerme una rica paleta de helado de frutas, en este caso mora, rellena con leche condensada; estaba muy rica. Mientras la comía, aproveché y descansé en la heladería y vi a las personas pasar y, luego de estar descansada, seguí mi camino rumbo a casa. Pero eso me animó más a seguir tomando mis fotos, de todo lo que me llamaba la atención, para así inmortalizar mis calles queridas; quizás unos años más tarde todo esto cambie y me queden mis fotos para el recuerdo, porque, como todo, los cambios siempre se están dando en una ciudad tan movida como esta. Afortunadamente, muchas estructuras se mantienen por cuestión cultural, sobre todo los lugares icónicos, como la cuadra de la casa de los Bolívar o la Plaza del Venezolano, entre muchos otros lugares; entonces no se pierde la esencia del centro de la ciudad. Cuando camino por estas calles, aprovecho y pongo en orden mis pensamientos, ideas y sobre todo con lo que tiene que ver con #Hive, pues es inevitable no ver algo que quiera compartir en las diferentes comunidades de esta linda blockchain, y hoy fue un día de estos en que vi muchas cosas interesantes que ya compartiré posteriormente. De momento, les quise mostrar parte de nuestras calles, avenidas, tiendas y negocios, como parte de una de mis rutinas que me encanta realizar de vez en cuando, porque nada como salir a ver cómo la vida sucede y disfrutar de lo que amamos.
