Los Sims no necesitan introducción, todos conocemos el famoso juego de simulación de la realidad, aunque no es el primero de su clase, hay que admitir que este juego ha tenido mucha más relevancia que sus hermanos como Second Life, Habbo, entre otros. Aunque la jugabilidad es un poco compleja, creo que todo es cuestión de costumbre debido que, para ser un juego de teléfono, está muy bien optimizado; creo que lo realmente incomodo o a lo que me a mí me cuesta acostumbrarme es a la movilidad de la cámara, en la consola o en la pc uno tenía más campo de visión y podías tener una vista 360º, aquí no y eso a veces puede dificultar un poco la jugabilidad. Otro detalle que noté es la personalización de tu sim, sé que en los juegos originales tampoco habían tantas opciones pero este al ser una versión nueva y más moderna, esperaba que por lo menos pudiese caracterizar mejor mi avatar y no tener que utilizar facciones por defecto.

Admito que no recuerdo si esto era así en Los Sims originales pero aquí tienes ciertas misiones que debes completar para ir subiendo de nivel, mientras más nivel tengas, más posibilidades tienes, como por ejemplo, cosas básicas como cocinar, modificar la distribución de tu casa, un trabajo, una vivienda nueva, tener otro Sims, etc... Este no es el primer Sims que existe para teléfono, había una versión anterior que fue con la que conocí está nueva modalidad pero si me lo preguntan, prefiero la versión anterior a esta, era mucho más atractiva, tenía más libertad para hacer tu vida y gráficamente se veía mejor; la tuve que desinstalar por temas tanto de memoria como de internet pero ahora que puede volver a tener la app me di cuenta que no era el mismo juego de antes.

Esto por su parte me parece un poco tedioso pero, a su vez, es una buena estrategia para evitar perder la noción del tiempo o enviciarse con la aplicación; me ha pasado mucho que me engancho tanto con un juego que no me doy cuenta del tiempo que paso jugándolo y esto me trae repercusiones en mis rutinas diarias, el hecho de que una jornada laboral en el juego duré lo mismo que una jornada laboral en la vida real, me parece una decisión acertada.

A pesar que el mismo juego evita que caigas en una adicción dando tareas con una duración prolongada, también se hace presente en el transcurso del día mandando notificaciones y avisos sobre tus recompensas diarias, de esta manera el juego cuida de tu salud mental pero se mantiene presente para que no lo abandones; en este sentido considero que EA planificó una muy buena estrategia para el consumidor, o a lo mejor soy yo sacando conclusiones de algo que realmente no es así. Las recompensas te ayudan a subir de nivel y ganar puntos de experiencia, los que te ayudan a desbloquear habilidades y posibilidades dentro del juego, así puedes ir contrayendo tu vida alterna paso a paso como en la vida real.
