¿Recuerdan la frase "Nada es lo que parece"? Que bueno, ténganla presente durante esta lectura ¿Cuántas veces no hemos oído la frase del título? Llega el viernes y empiezan el día con una actitud al 1000% y dicen eufóricos "¡Hoy es viernes y el cuerpo lo sabe!" y cuando llega la hora de salida ¡Ay mamá! El desastre que ya sabemos y no hace falta explicarlo. Es cómo si cada día de la semana vamos como ahorrando un poco de energía, de felicidad y el viernes ¡BOOM! Estalla eso y se suma a la energía que ya tenemos.

Dicen que en la psicología, sólo hacen falta 30 días para que se vuelva un hábito algo que hacías. Creo que eso es un poco lo que sucede los viernes, que durante la semana le decimos al cerebro "El viernes es el mejor día de la semana" o con bastante emoción "falta poco para el viernes" y claro, llega el viernes y el cuerpo ya se relaja y se pone eufórico.

¿Recuerdan lo que les dije en el primer párrafo? Si no lo recuerdan no hay problema, sigue ahí y se puede volver a leer jajaja... Decía que tuvieran presente la primera frase durante toda esta lectura, y es que aquí es a donde quería llegar.

¿Y si le dijéramos al cuerpo durante todos los días, "El viernes debes agradecer emocionado por todas las cosas buenas que nos han pasado durante la semana" qué pasaría? Yo creo que si lo hacemos por 30 días (O me atrevería a decir que hasta menos) cuando llegue el viernes, nos levantaríamos mucho más emocionado y agradeciendo hasta la molesta alarma que nos está despertando.

Es más, ¿Por qué no hacemos algo juntos aún en la distancia? Cada día que pase, anota todas y cada una de las cosas que te sacaron una sonrisa, anota el nombre de todas las personas que te alegraron la vida o te brindaron su apoyo (Incluso quienes comenten tus post y le den me gusta) y al final de la semana (puede ser el viernes o el domingo, lo dejo a la elección de cada uno) agradece eso que te pasó y dedícales un momento a esas personas en tu lista para agradecerles por eso que hicieron.

Do you remember the phrase “Nothing is what it seems”? Well, keep it in mind during this reading. How many times have we not heard the phrase in the title? Friday arrives and you start the day with a 1000% attitude and say euphoric “Today is Friday and the body knows it!” and when it's time to leave, Oh Mom! The disaster we already know and there is no need to explain it. It is as if every day of the week we are saving a little energy, happiness and on Friday BOOM! It explodes and adds to the energy we already have.

They say that in psychology, it only takes 30 days for something you did to become a habit. I think that's a little bit what happens on Fridays, that during the week we tell our brains “Friday is the best day of the week” or with a lot of excitement “Friday is coming soon” and of course, Friday arrives and the body relaxes and gets euphoric.

Do you remember what I said in the first paragraph? If you don't remember it, no problem, it's still there and you can read it again hahaha.... I was saying to keep the first sentence in mind throughout this reading, and this is what I was getting at.

What if we said to the body every day, “On Friday you should be excitedly thankful for all the good things that have happened to us during the week” what would happen? I believe that if we do it for 30 days (or dare I say even less) when Friday arrives, we would wake up much more excited and thankful even for the annoying alarm that is waking us up, and we would be more grateful for the good things that have happened during the week.

Moreover, why don't we do something together even in the distance? Every day that passes, write down each and every one of the things that made you smile, write down the names of all the people who made your life happy or gave you their support (even those who comment on your posts and like them) and at the end of the week (it can be Friday or Sunday, I leave it to each one's choice) thank them for what happened to you and dedicate a moment to those people on your list to thank them for what they did.
