Introduction

The introduction of blockchain solution through Bitcoin in 2008 was quite a muted affair initially, until the world stood up and noticed its real potential. By 2015, a number of blockchain solutions were presented as a whitepaper, and 2017 had a record number of ICOs. It is estimated that this rush of new concept launches will continue for at least half a decade more before we see it tapering down. The reason for tapering would be because of country-specific regulations coming into effect checking the ICOs.

In addition, the last two years saw a spurt in the prices of crypto-currencies with Bitcoin and all other coins touching a record high. This spike in prices coupled with lack of regulation, further accentuated the spurt in ICOs. As of today, we are looking at nearly 1500 cryptocurrencies being traded over 200 exchanges and with an almost equal number in the pipeline. The scenario is quite inviting for investors, especially individual investors, who are easily swayed by the market upsides.

A closer look though, does not give such a rosy picture. Less than half of the ICOs of 2017 were successful which means the investors who invested in the others lost their money. To add to that the really successful ones were evaluated quite early by seasoned investors and invested such that they never became available for public sale. In such a scenario, a not so prudent investor was bound to find the less interesting ICOs.

Any credible source of information on the ICOs would be welcome but there are hardly any. Even those that give credible information would do so as a reaction to market sentiments, which means it is quite late for investors as the token is already listed on the exchange. As such, the individual investors will only get a play in the market after the token is listed.

Having understood these crypto-market realities, the obvious question is if we have a solution which can help investors early on to not only figure out the best ICO but also get the pre-listing investment wave.

Turns out there is such a solution.

We are talking about Vertex

So, whom does Vertex benefit?

Vertex benefits both the investors and ICOs themselves. It, in short, benefits the whole crypto-community. How? Let’s look at each of them to understand better.

For Investors

We already saw few points like the in-depth evaluation of the ICOs and the discounted rate at which the tokens are made available for investors. This enhances investors’ chances of success. Not only that but the very fact that multiple tokens are available to investors through just one KYC process makes life simpler. In the absence of Vertex, each investor would have had to do multiple KYCs for each token that they had wished to invest in. Vertex saves time, effort and improves the pace and quality of investment.

Also, investors get access to strong ICOs which normally would have been available only to 5% of the investor community.

For the ICOs

Now, the popular way of attracting interest in the ICO is through Social Media, Telegram Channel, and contests to get the ICO started. This then is expected to draw serious investors to take note and invest. But the problem with this kind of approach is that it is a hit or a miss. The proof of that being ICOs giving an extension to the private sale, the public sale, and so on and so forth.
