A gentleman named Norman Michael Achin posts videos on YouTube frequently about how the local authorities in his area railroaded him for a sexual offense he did not commit against a minor who doesn't even exist. If you watch any of this man's videos on YouTube, you'll notice that he is much more reserved about what he perceives to be age-appropriate as for teenage sexuality than I and a number of others are. Therefore, the chances of him harming a teenager or anyone of any age in the form of a sexually-based offense are zero to none. Our society likes to take the high-school hunks who have had girlfriends in both middle school and high school and idolize them up on pedestals as proverbial pillars of the American culture. Reality then comes around and bites these people all in the backside whenever they have to read news stories about monsters like Toby Willis getting sentenced to 40 years in prison for raping their own daughters from the time that they were 3 years old. In case you don't know who Joanna Kerns is, she used to play the role of Maggie Seaver in the television sitcom *Growing Pains* back in the 1980s and early 1990s. Maggie Seaver was the matriarch in that same sitcom. What is so interesting about Ms. Posey is that she no longer has the same amount of fame that she once did 20 years ago. There is no single Wikipedia page about her on the Internet. I had a difficult time finding anything about her on YouTube. Fact has it that teenage girls fall victim to heinous sex crimes mostly at the hands of underage boys in their peer groups. Throughout this entire same movie, Julie Posey accuses adult men attracted to teenage girls of being pedophiles, when nothing could be any further from the truth. According to the Fifth Edition of the *Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders* ("*DSM-5*"), a pedophile is someone 16 years of age or older who is sexually attracted to prepubescent children more than five years their junior, who are generally younger than 13 years old (younger than 11 years old under certain circumstances). What she has done has never been ethical. There was no mention of prepubescent children in the movie clip above but rather teenage girls who dressed sexy on camera at one point in the movie. I mean, anyone can clearly see that the three teenage girls that do get shown in the movie clip above are too old to play with crayons and watch cartoons on television. I have not seen this same film in its entirety, but I can only imagine what happens throughout the rest of it; and I find it all very offensive. I'm not trying to claim that teenage girls don't fall into toxic situations with older men, but not every adult man who has ever fallen in love with a teenage girl who is not yet old enough to vote is a sexual predator; and none of these adult men could be classified as pedophiles regardless of whether their intentions for teenage girls are honorable or dishonorable. Facts are facts, and Ms. Posey has never seemed to care about the facts. One thing that the movie clip above does get right is that one of the detectives expresses his concern that online sex-sting operations would be a form of entrapment. Both detectives are right that Ms. Posey was another bored housewife who had too much time on her hands and needed to get a life. I do agree with the one detective that said that Ms. Posey could be another nut. Once in a while I will come across an article on Reddit that was well written and informative, but only on very rare occasions. What is most annoying about Reddit is that many of these imbeciles that post there look for inventive ways to promote fake pedophilia. This one post that caught my eye was no exception to that rule. It is titled "I (21M) just found out my gym buddy (63M) is a convicted pedophile. I feel sick." The person who posted it goes by the user name of FlashyAd6158. When I was barely out of high school and living in New York City, I was friendly with one of my co-workers and I did not realize until later on that she was my mother's age. Nonetheless, we had the best friendship any two people could ever have. My only regrets was not staying in touch with her as I should have after I left New York. I don't deny that I did fall into uncomfortable situations with older people when I was living in New York. When I was walking home from the subway one night, this older man dressed up as a priest asked me from a dark corner if I wanted to get high with him. I looked young for my age. Nonetheless, I still realized that there were people my age and even younger that could have done much worse things to me than older people would have done. I chose not to take an ageist perspective of everything. What we have to remember is that gay teenage boys in middle school and high school here in the United States mostly don't readily have outlets where they can hook up with boys the same age as them for non-Platonic purposes. Because of it, they constantly subject themselves to great dangers in seeking a gay partner among their peers; and if they make the wrong move, it could be as detrimental as costing them their lives. A gay teenage boy could meet a classmate the same age as him and think that that male classmate is also gay. Then once he professes his feelings for him, that other classmate who turns out not to be gay could ignite on him in a fit of violent rage and beat him senselessly. If that other classmate has friends and they join him in the confrontation, it could become deadly. If a gay teenage boy chooses to keep to himself in middle school and high school, there is always the possibility that a male teacher hiding in the gay closet could allow for his frustrations to get the best of him and he could become involved with that young student in non-Platonic ways. If a schoolteacher has that problem, then I don't feel that he should be in the teaching profession at all. Then again, because there is such a scarcity of good teachers in the public school system here in our nation, it's not always easy to be selective about who gets hired. If our Federal government took over the entire American school system and paid these teachers a living wage, perhaps there would be fewer sex scandals surfacing between teachers and students in public schools. I've never been crazy about adults in positions of authority over teenagers crossing any sort of forbidden line in their business-related or academic relationships with them. However, none of us can overlook the fact that teenagers do seek out older sex partners, even among people who are supposed to be supervising them. When I was a teenager myself, I worked as a service assistant at an Italian restaurant, and one of the owners of it, who was a woman in her mid-forties, was open about the affairs she would carry on with male employees even as young as 14 years of age. I agree with him, but I also contend that they probably peaked in middle school as well. In the American culture, sex with teenage girls has become like a sacred haven in which only the most popular middle-school and high-school boys are given access to it. These boys grow into men who actually believe that if they allow an adult man who missed out on the teenage dating scene ever to cross-pollinate sexually with an adolescent girl, then it would be like such a man is moving in on their turf and contaminating its celestial purity. It's almost like the point that Jesus freaks and psycho-Christians make about suicide victims being allowed in through the gateways of Paradise. It's an ego trip for these social prima donnas and former high-school hunks. At the end of the day, self-appointed and self-proclaimed "predator" catchers are nothing more than domestic terrorists that are going to destroy our nation eventually. They are corrupting our criminal justice system and turning our judicial system into a cesspool of kangaroo courts. These people must be stopped and put out of business.
