"Hi Steemit, we are here!"

The Lagos NewYorker is a big vision and it is running. It is a registered company in New York and regards what our enterprise involves, our name tells the story.

We will like to keep this introductory post brief possible, since @surpassinggoogle, who has been introducing us to blockchain and who has been in our journey prior to steemit, made an elaborate post about us here:

The World Has Very Few Sustained Dreamers! "Dreams Fit Steem!" Another Dream-Team @thelagosnewyorker Joins Steemit!

We are a small team of talents on a mission to empower talents round the world. It does take talent to spot talent, no doubt; so we pride ourselves in spotting hidden talents. We refer to this talents as "hidden" because they are indeed hidden.

Talents exist everywhere and even in the most impoverished nations of the world. In fact, talents that managed the terrains in developing nations and stayed on as talents, are among the best talents in the world.

They have attained their level of talents, however small, against all odds. We respect this! We promote this! We celebrate this.

We target these lowly nations because in reality, these are not lowly nations. We are done with seeing people who are under-privileged, see themselves or present themselves as victims. We want to take these ones to height of heights and make them special.

The dream started in Lagos, Nigeria! The story is of a young man, me, who started out creating fashion under the brand name Chasariagain, which in itself is a growing fashion startup dealing in hand-made fashion; only to find himself surrounded by raw talents, from all over the streets of Lagos.

"In Lagos, a car technician doesn't need any form of meter or gadget to tell you, that your car's crank-shaft has a loose bolt".

On the path to creating a brand Chasariagain, i came across vast array of talents and i started to pick particular interest in their personal lives and the stories of these talents accrued, which sparked new found ambition and formed the basis for @lagosnewyorker. We don't only want to amplify these stories, we want to flaunt these homegrown equals, among the best talents worldwide.

I relocated to USA to further this dream and i became US citizen as well, inorder to have full impact. "@lagosnewyorker began and the rest is history!"

We have started impacting lives of talents, many of whom originate from Africa, putting them before influential US brands, by leveraging the power of our team.

Our team is a team of talents, most of whom originate from Africa as well but who were privileged to migrate to USA and became success stories. Our diverse team is also the source of our connections, here in USA.

We are still evolving and are currently spreading our wings to Canada, through the influence of my sister there. Well, my sisters are a core part of this entire dream.

The overall vision, is to grow into a household name as the voice of African talents and eventually have The Lagos New Yorker Airline, handling Jet services from Lagos to New York.

We want to get to that level, to which no African talent doubts his ability and we want to take their talents up a notch, to world standard.

We are glad to now have the opportunity of being on steemit! The whole blockchain initiative has stayed unclear, however, with how @surpassinggoogle explains it, it is obvious that it is alignment with our vision of touching lives and especially, empowering talents originating from developing countries.

We hope to move most of our online activity on here and explore the potential of steem, in maximizing our efforts in terms of business. We hope to bring publicity to steemit and ofcourse, that will start with bring our entire team here on steemit.

Don't be surprised if you see some investment into steem power as well. @surpassinggoogle spoke of this need especially in brand-building here on steemit.

We still have a humble portfolio and perhaps, many unknown names but we are advancing.

@lagosnewyorker is also the official promoter of Mrtorchfooties, who has appeared on Nigerian newspapers for making high-quality handmade foot wears. We have also worked with The Dowe Twins, HeseyDesigns and several others.

We will be document all progress on steemit henceforth as we look to expand our impact also towards the community here.
