Just after sunset last night a lovely big storm rolled along the coast off to the east. I could see flashes of lightning and hear long drawn-out rumbles of thunder.

The last few days we've had some pretty intense thunderstorms pass through our area of the Ozarks. This is actually the 2nd lightning strike I've experienced in the two years I've been living on the mountain
