Hoy con mucho ánimo, escribo para ustedes uniendome a la iniciativa sobre nuestro Camino en la Maternidad contando sobre nuestras experiencias normales, buenas y feas jeje o lo que consideramos así. Antes de continuar, quiero invitar a unirse a esta a mis amigas @royvergo55, @rulirecomiwnda y @marianis, para también conocer sobre su camino en esta hermosa labor 😍.

Today with much encouragement, I write for you joining the initiative about our Way in Motherhood telling about our normal, good and ugly experiences hehe or what we consider so. Before I continue, I want to invite my friends @royvergo55, @rulirecomiwnda and @marianis to join this one, to also know about their journey in this beautiful work 😍.

Todos como padres (mamis y papis) pasamos por diferentes momentos a lo largo de nuestro camino y cada uno de nosotros toma de forma distinta cada experiencia, lo que para unos es bueno, para otros no; lo que para algunos es normal para otros es feo. Sólo depende de la persona y de su punto de vista.

All of us as parents (mommies and daddies) go through different moments along our journey and each one of us takes each experience differently, what for some is good, for others is not; what for some is normal for others is ugly. It just depends on the person and their point of view.

Ser padres no es nada fácil y con el tiempo no mejora 😅, con cada año que pasa y nuestros hijos van creciendo, vamos afrontando nuevos retos y nuevas experiencias que aunque creamos que ya estamos preparados no es así.

Being parents is not easy and with time it does not get better 😅, with each passing year and our children grow up, we face new challenges and new experiences that even if we think we are ready, it is not so.

Ahora bien, hablándoles un poco sobre mi proceso en la maternidad debo decir que desde el primer momento no fue fácil 😅, voy a comenzar de lo feo a lo bueno 🤭. La peor parte en éste hermoso camino para mí fué lo que acá en mi país (Venezuela) llaman "La Mala", qué trata de todos aquellos malestares por lo que pasamos las mujeres al estar en estado.

Now, telling you a little about my process of motherhood, I must say that from the very first moment it was not easy 😅, I will start from the ugly to the good 🤭. The worst part of this beautiful path for me was what here in my country (Venezuela) they call "the bad part", which is about all those discomforts that women go through when they are in a state of pregnancy.

Mucho antes de saber que estaba embarazada estos malestares habían comenzado, comenzando con dolores estomacales fuertes, estos no se me quitaban por nada del mundo, pasando de estos a las horribles náuseas 🤢 y vómitos 🥴🤮, esto fué lo peor para mí, de verdad que creí que moriría en el proceso, no había comida o algún olor que no me mandará a vomitar 🤮, recuerdo que vivía con una conchita de limón o mandarina metida en las fosas nasales para no percibir otro olores 😅.

Long before I knew I was pregnant these discomforts had begun, starting with strong stomach pains, these would not go away for anything in the world, passing from these to the horrible nausea 🤢 and vomiting 🥴🤮, this was the worst for me, I really thought I would die in the process, there was no food or any smell that would not send me to vomit 🤮, I remember that I lived with a lemon or tangerine shell stuck in my nostrils to not perceive other smells 😅.

Pasando de esto, estuvo el hecho de tener que trabajar hasta mis 8 meses de embarazo, lo cual no era nada fácil y para completar estábamos en plena pandemia, lo que hacía todo un poco más difícil, había momentos en los que me tocaba irme caminando de mi lugar de trabajo hasta mi casa y no eran nada cerca 😬.

Besides this, there was the fact that I had to work until I was 8 months pregnant, which was not easy at all and to top it off, we were in the middle of a pandemic, which made everything a little more difficult, there were times when I had to walk from my workplace to my house and it wasn't close 😬.

También, entra en lo feo de la maternidad el hecho de ser juzgada por otras mamis por cualquier razón, el ser criticada por no hacer las cosas como se venían haciendo, aún yo cómo mujer y mamá no entiendo cómo entre nosotras mismas nos podemos criticar y juzgar por cualquier cosa, sin saber las razones que tiene cada mami para hacer lo que hace. Debemos apoyarnos más y juzgarnos menos, por favor!

Also, being judged by other moms for any reason, being criticized for not doing things the way they were being done, is part of the ugliness of motherhood, even as a woman and mom I don't understand how we can criticize and judge each other for anything, without knowing the reasons that each mom has for doing what she does. We should support each other more and judge each other less, please!

Y por último, pero que fué lo peor para mí, el hecho de dejar a mi bebé con apenas 4 meses de nacida para reincorporarme en mi trabajo, ya que el que en ese momento era mi jefe, me decía que si no regresaba lamentablemente me tendrían que despedir 😔, y como muchos de ustedes saben, en Venezuela estar sin empleo no es una opción 😔, esto fué duro y más los primeros días en que tuve que dejar a mi niña, irme de su lado y dejarla dormida 💔, volver y encontrarla de la misma manera fué un choque muy duro. Pero, son sacrificios que a veces debemos hacer.

And finally, but what was the worst for me, the fact that I had to leave my baby when she was only 4 months old to return to my job, since my boss at that time told me that if I did not return I would have to be fired 😔, and as many of you know, in Venezuela being unemployed is not an option 😔, this was hard and even harder the first days when I had to leave my little girl, leave her side and let her sleep 💔, coming back and finding her in the same way was a very hard shock. But, these are sacrifices that sometimes we have to make.

Entre lo normal de la maternidad está casi todo lo demás 😅. Los trasnochos sería lo principal ¿Que mami no los pasa?, aunque admito que mi hija era de dormir toda la noche, creo que todas estamos muy pendientes de nuestros bebés 🤭 tanto que llegamos al punto de levantarnos en plena noche y verificar que estén respirando y que todo se encuentre bien 🤭.

Among the normal things of motherhood is almost everything else 😅. I admit that my daughter used to sleep through the night, but I think we are all very attentive to our babies 🤭 so much so that we get up in the middle of the night and check that they are breathing and that everything is okay 🤭.

La preocupación constante de que no les pase nada, de que todo se encuentre bien, que estén cómodos, que no les falte nada, cosa que nunca cambia, a medida que van creciendo esto sigue siendo igual. Los sustos en las caídas, cuando les pasa una mínima cosa, las enfermedades comunes como la gripe. Para mí, estas son de las cosas más normales que tenemos en éste hermoso camino, ya que si conversamos como padres siempre tendremos estos puntos en común, aunque algunos lo enfatizan mas que otros.

The constant concern that nothing happens to them, that everything is all right, that they are comfortable, that nothing is missing, something that never changes, as they grow older this remains the same. The scares when they fall, when the slightest thing happens to them, the common illnesses such as the flu. For me, these are some of the most normal things we have in this beautiful journey, because if we talk as parents we will always have these points in common, although some emphasize them more than others.

Y pasando de esto a lo bueno, pues el ser mamá 😍 esto es simplemente lo mejor y más maravilloso de la vida. Tener a tu bebé en brazos, acariciarlo, mirar sus ojitos, su carita. Compartir sus primeras veces, sus primeros momentos en todo como por ejemplo, ver cómo va saliendo su primer diente, cómo da sus primeros pasos, cómo dice su primera palabra 😍, cómo va aprendiendo cada cosa a veces hasta sin tu enseñarle ☺️, son los mejores momentos de este bello camino.

And moving on from this to the good, because being a mom 😍 this is simply the best and most wonderful thing in life. Holding your baby in your arms, caressing him, looking at his little eyes, his little face. Sharing their first times, their first moments in everything, for example, seeing how their first tooth comes out, how they take their first steps, how they say their first word 😍, how they learn everything, sometimes even without you teaching them ☺️, are the best moments of this beautiful journey.

El hecho de despertar cada día y tener ahí a tu bebé, que lo primero que veas sea esa carita, que el primer abrazo sea de tu pequeño. Esos momentos de juegos donde puedes ver a tu bebé reír a más no poder, cuando observas esos ojitos brillar de felicidad 😍.

The fact of waking up every day and having your baby there, that the first thing you see is that little face, that the first hug is from your little one. Those moments of play when you can see your baby laughing like crazy, when you see those little eyes shining with happiness 😍.

El compartir un momento haciendo su actividad favorita, una salida a su lugar favorito o a algún lugar nuevo que le cause emoción. Que puedo decirles TODO lo que puedas pasar con tu hijo/a donde puedas ver qué es feliz es de los mejores momentos que trae la maternidad.

Sharing a moment doing their favorite activity, an outing to their favorite place or somewhere new that causes them excitement. What can I tell you EVERYTHING you can spend with your child where you can see what makes them happy is one of the best moments motherhood brings.

Y sobre todo el aprendizaje constante en el que nos vemos sumergidos, porque aunque no lo veamos cada día estamos aprendiendo algo nuevo sobre ellos y sobre como hacer mejor está labor. Ser padres es lo mejor que nos puede suceder en esta vida y es algo que simplemente me hace feliz ❤️.

And above all the constant learning in which we are immersed, because although we do not see it every day we are learning something new about them and how to do this job better. Being parents is the best thing that can happen to us in this life and it is something that simply makes me happy ❤️.

Espero que con esta iniciativa muchos puedan recordar principalmente esos buenos y maravillosos momentos que pasan junto a sus pequeños 😍.
