Arrggh, howdy all!

We've got something cool to share! We're introducing a governance system that will utilize ranks on Discord and of course, the ranks within the company in the game. This system is built to make everything organized and makes it possible for everyone to participate and contribute to the company at their own pace.

Divisions

To organize everything within our company, we are introducing divisions. Each division has its own consul with officers. Whereas consuls are responsible for an entire division, and officers within that division are responsible for their chosen task.

With every ranking officer comes responsibility. As a member of our company, you're resembling the organisms that keep our company alive.

How to apply?

All pirates (settlers) from the company can apply for officer ranks when certain requirements are met. A list of all officer ranks will be available on Discord, including requirements and responsibilities.

No Consul?

At the beginning of our company, we will have no "Consul", with an exception for the Consul of Community. This means that we rely on our officers, for the upcoming month, or whenever a debate is initiated by one of the officers.

During this time, it is expected from all officers in a division that they will cooperate with each other, and discuss with each other who is going to be the best fit to be the consul in our company. If a decision is made within a month, a company vote is initiated.

This means we will have Consuls within a month.

"Votation"

Every month, the company will hold democratic votes for officer roles. This only applies when there are no officer spots left so other pirates can apply for officer.

If an officer holds his rank for three votation rounds, this officer will be eligible to challenge a consul with a debate immediately (61 days), and, depending per division another activity will be triggered. This will be clarified later on in this document.

Votations are being held every month for officers, meaning that when there are consuls, they are required to at least be active for 3 months

Our officers are your "consul votes"

Keep in mind, that whoever gets chosen as an officer, has the opportunity to become a consul. Consuls hold great responsibility and are very important, as they are key ingredients to a smooth-running engine, the company.

Therefore, vote for your officers as if it were for your consuls.

The current list of available officer spots. When we have a consul, there will be additional officer ranks (consul-chosen).

Currently, we're exploring everybody's interests to determine what is popular and what requires more attention in our company. For this reason, at this time: all pirates can receive a maximum of one rank at a time (including assisting officer of the consul). We hope that we will have more than enough positions within the company.

Ranking Consuls of Assassins of Aeternum

Consuls make sure that their division is running smoothly, and that all tasks are being done.

Consuls are being assisted by all officers in a division. Consuls can also appoint one assisting officer that has no official rank yet. If assisting officer is already occupying an officer rank, this rank will be available for other pirates once this member is assigned as assisting officer of the consul.

Consul of War (Warlord)

Leading rank for the War division of our company.

Requirements

Age: 18+
Language: fluent English in writing is a must
Activity: three times a week
Knowledge: know PvE and PvP skilltrees
Tutorship: be able to teach others
Communication: calm, clear and direct.

Short brief of responsibilities

The Consul of War is responsible for the entire Division of War. The Warlord of our company has proven himself to possess great knowledge about strategic warfare and decision-making. He corresponds with other Consuls when required, and makes sure preparations for war are posted way before the due date.

Consul of Craft (Quartermaster)

Age: 18+

Activity: three times a week
Knowledge: Everything about gathering and crafting

Short brief of responsibilities

The Consul of Craft is responsible for the entire Division of Craft. Our Quartermaster knows exactly who can create what, when, and how. He or she has knowledge of company inventory, gathering routes, and shares these with his or her officers. Consul of Craft is responsible for

Consul of Coin (The Treasury)

Leading rank for the Coin division of our company.

Requirements

Age: 18+
Language: fluent English in writing is a must
Knowledge: Knows how to trade and make a profit
Donation: 15K donated to the company while being capped at 500K gold (personal cashstash).
Activity: three times a week

Short brief of responsibilities

The Consul of Coin is responsible for the entire Division of Coin, and the company treasury. The Consul of Coin knows how to spend and invest company gold, but more importantly, knows how to distribute and invest it wisely. Other consuls will consult with The Consul of Coin to open up a budget for specific events or make preparations for company growth.

Consul of Community

Short brief of responsibilities

The Consul of Community is responsible for holding meetings between other consuls and corresponds with other consuls to acquire information about what kind of events are needed for war, crafts, and so on. The Consul is responsible to find or propose solutions to various issues and problems.

Ranking Officers of Assassins of Aeternum

The first step to becoming an officer includes getting to know one and another and be helpful to everyone regardless of their level. The officer will hold great responsibility and has the opportunity to become one of the Consuls.

We start with officer rankings for those who are eligible. We will have various divisions as ranks, whereas eligible officers can compete with each other to become the consul of that division.

Assisting officers are being chosen by the current Consul and terms of being an assisting officer are as long as the Consul holds his/her position.

Short brief of responsibilities

War officers oversee the assignment of "weapon/role mentor" roles on discord which signify that a person is competent in and is able to teach others (whoever chooses to) about the weapon/role.

Officers assist the Consul of War to make preparations for war, they report what is needed within our company (gold for potions, materials for upgraded assaulting, and defending forts).

Requirements

Age: 18+
Language: fluent English in writing is a must
Activity: three times a week
Skilled: at least 150 in either Engineering (tools) and/or Arcana (potions)
Knowledge: Must know about efficient routes for gathering resources

Short brief of responsibilities

Officers of crafting oversee the assignments of materials needed for the Company. They will be an important pillar for making sure that company members supply upcoming, and ongoing wars. This includes territory upgrades, and fortification.

Officers are also responsible for making sure that all gatherers and members of the company have the proper tools to work with.

Officer of Trade (Market Maker)
Officer of Return (Market Taker)
Officer of Collect (The Collector)

Requirements

Age: 18+
Language: fluent English in writing is a must
Activity: three times a week
Must: Continiously capped at 500K own cash (will remain yours)
Knowledge: Must know how to trade on the auction hall

Short brief of responsibilities

Officers of Coin assist the Consul of Coin. They keep each other informed about "bargains" and "hotspots for trading". Think about spotting a bulk-buy to sell it higher (market makers). Together they consult with the consul and mark up any profits (or losses). They also ask other members of the company to pledge a chip-in/donation for events. Let it be a war or fishing competition, it is no hard requirement for members to do so.

Note: Being capped at 500K continuously is a sign of proof for trading capabilities and skills. Since 500K is the cap, the Company's treasure should exceed and grow rapidly. All profits will go straight to all the company members or are spent on wars and fortification.

Short brief of responsibilities

Officers of Community oversee the assignments of organizing events for the company. They organize corruption runs, expeditions, elite farms, fishing competitions, and other engaging community events.

They also organize events where the company needs to gather and craft materials for upcoming wars.

In overall, community officers are concerned with the welfare of our company. They organize events that keep the company alive. They're also involved with the maintenance of our Discord channel. And, if there are complaints, officers who are designated for that will solve it together with you.

As a team, officers will widely address all aspects PvE (Elite Farms, Expeditions, and Corrupted Nodes strategy).
