Hello all,

I'm Jarim, a 23 year old freelance photographer looking to travel. A friend recently told me about steemit and I was instantly intrigued. About a year ago I quit my job working at an electrical contracting company to pursue my own dream of being a creative. I had spent far too long rotting away in a cubicle allowing my creativity dwindle. Unfortunately, I didn't exactly have a plan before deciding to throw 8 years of experience and a steady paycheck down the drain. Ended up selling my car, moving out of my apartment, and submitting to a life of minimal consumption. Since then, I spend most of my time taking pictures around town and trying to get out as much as I can afford. I'd love to be able to travel but have a hard time selling myself and my work despite my capabilities. I just find it difficult to put a price on my art and prefer to spend the majority of my time taking photos and perfecting my post-processing rather than peddling prints. In fact, I'd love to hire someone with experience selling prints to sell my work for me. On commission, because I'm practically penny-less. I'm hoping to find an outlet here in the steem community and can't wait to see what is possible!
