On January 22nd 1943 in Spearfish, South Dakota. The temperature rose from -4(−20 °C) at 7:32 A.M to +45 °F (7 °C) , a rise of 49 degrees farenheit in just two minutes. A couple of hours later it plunged from +54°F(12 °C) back to -4°F degrees which is a drop of 58 degrees or 32.2 °C in 27 minutes.
