Change Ahead: Steem Tokens as an Author Rewards from your blogs, articles, videos, etc.

So i just noticed this payout(author rewards) of my posts yesterday that indicated a fraction of steem tokens as part of the reward distribution. So I would assume that 24hrs have passed, steemit conducted
