Tomatoes

Have you seen the movie Fried Green Tomatoes? It is a 1991 film based on the book "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe" by Fannie Flagg. My Mom wanted to see the movie and brought me along with her. I think I was a Junior in high school then.

How about these for some yummy, crisp, spicy, and mouthwatering fried green tomatoes?

Eggplant

I have three pots of Japanese Eggplant.

I like the Japanese Eggplant because it is less bitter than large globe eggplant, so it doesn’t need to be salted before cooking.

Green Bell Pepper

Green bell peppers are low in calories, and high in dietary fiber and vitamins C and K. They are slightly bitter, which accentuates their refreshing flavor when eaten raw.
