This is my response to the Third Nonsense Writing Contest by 
Sense and nonsense, reality and fiction... what is real and what is fake?

I have an idea of a magic crystal ball, one that creates all the real stuff, past or future. But also all the fake stuff. So the sense and the nonsense all at once... but not quite.
I would say that everyone who is reading my post now, already possess such a crystal ball. Just lacking the software.
The software itself is also easy to create, but there is one major problem. Its an NP-Complete computing problem. Meaning it cannot be solved in any meaningful time, and will take forever.
consider every film that were ever made, every painting ever drawn in the past, as well as every possible film that will be made or painting that will be produced. All can be shown on your computer screen. It is just different pixels lighting different RGB combinations.. and right combinations of millions of pixels will show the right past or future painting.
A series of right frames will create a moving sequence of a movie.
So imagine, every possible invention on a blueprint can also be reproduced...
We just have to go through every possible combination of pixels and identify if that photo makes any sense... a task for AI computing no doubt
