It is pretty hard for developers to find something comparable like ether. And there are hundreds of startups already investing like crazy in Ethereum. Why they gonna change that ? Only because of a Hardfork? Ethereum already done a Hardfork(some people say: Yeah but this was on the protocol level...). It actually do not matter at all. The community, The Foundation and all Startups want the Hardfork, and they will get it!
